ABOUT US
Welcome to the HAUC website!
Established in January 2006, the Hills Auslan Circle is a not-for-profit community group, dedicated to working with and for Hills people who are Deaf or hard of Hearing, their families and other interested people.

HAUC meets at the Mundaring Sharing Centre in Craigie Place, Mundaring.
Our email contact is info@hauc.asn.au
HAUC relies on donations and grant funding from various sources to continue operation.
Other groups which have supported us financially in the past include the Guild of St Richard (Midland), the Bendigo Bank (Mundaring Branch), and Rotary Mundaring.
HAUC meets on the 3rd Saturday of the month, has an informal, relaxed and friendly atmosphere and breaks down the communication barriers with a notetaker and Auslan interpreter.
HAUC was incorporated in March 2008.

WHAT DOES OUR LOGO MEAN?
The hands are in the finger spelt 'H' position for the 'Hills'.
The curved line running behind the hands signify the hills and the 2 shorter curved lines to the left above the hills signify sound waves.
