Vanessa recently paid us a visit with her new son, Brock and everyone was very happy to see them and took turns holding the baby!

She won a “Celebrating Ability” Award from the Shire of Mundaring for her voluntary notetaking service to HAUC over a period of two years.

HAUC  was nominated for an organization award at the ASLIA (Australian Sign Language Interpreters Association) Awards in July. Even though we did not win, the recognition of what we are doing is most welcome.
